The boundary lines of Okeechobee County are as follows: Beginning at the northeast corner of section one, township thirty-four south, range thirty-six east; thence west six miles to the northwest corner of township thirty-four south, range thirty-six east; thence north to the northeast corner of township thirty-three south, range thirty-five east; thence west on the line dividing townships thirty-two and thirty-three south, to the Kissimmee River; thence in a southerly direction along the thread of the Kissimmee River to the normal water level on the boundary of Lake Okeechobee; thence southerly in a straight course to the southeast corner of section twenty-five, being the northeast corner of section thirty-six, township forty south, range thirty-four east; thence northeasterly in a straight course to the line of normal water level on the boundary of Lake Okeechobee at its intersection with the line dividing ranges thirty-six and thirty-seven east, township thirty-eight south, thence north between ranges thirty-six and thirty-seven east to the point of beginning.
