§ 8718A. Budget.

The Director shall prepare a proposed budget for the operation of the Division to be submitted along with the proposal for the Department of State for the consideration of the Secretary, Governor and the General Assembly. The budget may be presented in any manner consistent with guidelines provided by the Director of the Office of Management and Budget; provided, however, that at least 1 budget unit, or successor budgetary component, shall detail the proposed budget for the support of tourism.
The Division shall be operated within the limitation of the annual appropriation and any other funds appropriated by the General Assembly. Special funds may be used in accordance with approved programs, grants or appropriations.
