(a)Under § 2505C(b) of this title, an attending physician or attending APRN may not write a prescription under this chapter less than 15 days after the individual’s first oral request for medication to end life in a humane and dignified manner.
(b)Under § 2508C(11)b. of this title, an attending physician or attending APRN may not write a prescription under this chapter less than 48 hours after the individual’s written request for medication to end life in a humane and dignified manner.
(c)An individual’s first oral request for medication to end life in a humane and dignified manner expires after 1 year if no medication to end life in a humane and dignified manner is prescribed under this chapter. An individual may make a new oral request for medication to end life in a humane and dignified manner and begin the process under this chapter again.
