(a)No person shall, with intent to commit larceny:
(1)Enter, or force an entrance into, alter or insert any part of an instrument into any coin machine, as defined in section 53a-143 ; or
(2)knowingly possess a key or device, or a drawing, print or mold thereof, adapted and designed to open or break into any such coin machine.
(b)Any person who violates any provision of this section shall be guilty of a class A misdemeanor.
