The common law of trusts and principles of equity supplement sections 45a-487j to 45a-487t , inclusive, and 45a-499a to 45a-500s , inclusive, except to the extent modified by sections 45a-487j to 45a-487t , inclusive, and 45a-499a to 45a-500s , inclusive, or another provision of the general statutes. The provisions of sections 45a-487j to 45a-487t , inclusive, and 45a-499a to 45a-500s , inclusive, expressly applying to charitable trusts apply only to supplement Connecticut common law of charitable trusts.
No provision in sections 45a-487j to 45a-487t , inclusive, and 45a-499a to 45a-500s , inclusive, or this title shall be applied or construed to alter or diminish any charitable interest or purpose or any condition or restriction related to a charitable interest or purpose.
