The provisions of sections 42-270 to 42-271a , inclusive, and 42-390 to 42-434 , inclusive, are supplemented by other applicable statutory provisions and by general principles of law and equity, including the law merchant and the law relative to capacity to contract, principal and agent, estoppel, fraud, misrepresentation, duress, coercion, mistake, bankruptcy and other validating or invalidating cause, unless those provisions or principles are displaced by or inconsistent with the provisions of sections 42-270 to 42-271a , inclusive, and 42-390 to 42-434 , inclusive.
Nothing in sections 42-270 to 42-271a , inclusive, and 42-390 to 42-434 , inclusive, shall be construed to limit or restrict in any way any rights or remedies which may be available to a lessee or person under any other statutory provisions or under general principles of law and equity.
