As used in subsection
(f)of section 22a-471 and section 22a-471a , “person engaged in agriculture” means a person operating a farm, as defined in subsection
(q)of section 1-1 , that produces agricultural products for sale from which annual gross sales of one thousand dollars or more from agricultural products were realized during each calendar year during which pesticides were applied to an agricultural or horticultural product or to the land.
