(a)Each school bus, as defined in subsection
(a)of section 14-275 , used for the transportation of school children and each motor vehicle used to transport passengers for hire shall be equipped with a defrosting device, in good working order and adequate to prevent the accumulation of snow, ice, frost or condensation on the windshield.
(b)Operation of a motor vehicle or, as owner, permitting the operation of a motor vehicle, in violation of any provision of this section, shall be an infraction.
