Sec. 11-34. Report by trustees.

The board of trustees shall make, on or before the second Monday of June, an annual report to the city council for the year ending the first of June, stating the various sums of money received from the library fund and other sources and how such moneys have been expended; the number of books and periodicals on hand; the number added, by purchase, gift or otherwise, during the year; the number lost or missing; the number of visitors attending; the number of books loaned and the general character of such books, and such other statistics, information and suggestions as it deems of general interest.
All such portions of such report as relate to the receipt and expenditure of money, as well as the number of books on hand, books lost or missing and books purchased, shall be verified by affidavit.
