(1)The curriculum for certification in accordance with this part 3 must include courses in the following areas:
(a)General election law;
(b)The federal "Help America Vote Act of 2002";
(c)Professional development;
(d)Voter registration and list maintenance;
(e)Accessibility;
(f)Coordinated elections;
(g)Mail ballot and in-person voting processes;
(h)Voting systems testing;
(i)Risk-limiting audits; and
(j)Canvass.
(2)The secretary of state shall offer certification courses at least annually.
