The State Department of Health Services succeeds to and is vested with the duties, purposes, responsibilities, and jurisdiction heretofore exercised by the Department of Benefit Payments with respect to the processing, audit, and payment of claims for family planning services under this part to the extent they are performed pursuant to the state plan under Title XIX of the federal Social Security Act (Medi-Cal). The State Department of Social Services succeeds to and is vested with the duties, purposes, responsibilities, and jurisdiction heretofore exercised by the Department of Benefit Payments with respect to the processing, audit, and payment of claims for family planning services under this part to the extent they are performed pursuant to the state plan under Title XX of the federal Social Security Act.
Moneys, funds, and appropriations available to the Department of Benefit Payments for the purposes of this section shall be made available to the State Department of Health Services and to the State Department of Social Services by the Director of Benefit Payments for the purposes of this section after such moneys, funds, and appropriations have been appropriated to or received by the Department of Benefit Payments.
