Effective January 1, 2012, and notwithstanding Section 19130 of the Government Code, the State Department of Health Care Services may enter into contracts with one or more eligible Medicaid Recovery Audit Contractors
(RACs)pursuant to Section 1396a(a)(42)(B) of Title 42 of the United States Code.
