(1)Except as otherwise provided in this subdivision, prior authorization shall not be required for hospice services.
(2)Paragraph
(1)shall not apply to any admission that violates federal law.
(b)Prior authorization shall be required for inpatient hospice services.
(c)This section shall become inoperative on July 1, 2026, and, as of January 1, 2027, is repealed.
