§ 14132.86

(a)Notwithstanding subdivision
(ab)of Section 14132, effective May 1, 2014, purchase of prescribed enteral nutrition products is covered, subject to the Medi-Cal list of enteral nutrition products pursuant to Section 14105.8 and utilization controls pursuant to Section 14105.395.
(b)Notwithstanding Chapter 3.5 (commencing with Section 11340) of Part 1 of Division 3 of Title 2 of the Government Code, the department shall implement this section by means of a provider bulletin or similar instruction, without taking regulatory action.
(c)This section shall only be implemented to the extent permitted by federal law.
(d)The department shall seek approval for federal financial participation and coverage of the service specified in subdivision
(a)under the Medi-Cal program.
