(a)The department shall include training regarding the treatment of separate and community income and resources in determining eligibility for Medi-Cal benefits, as part of the ongoing training offered to county welfare departments.
(b)Commencing January 1, 2026, the department shall also include training regarding the applicability of the lookback period outlined in Section 14015, which only applies to people seeking home- and facility-based care as described in subdivision
(c)of Section 1396p of Title 42 of the United States Code, as part of the ongoing training offered to county welfare departments.
