The commission shall annually report the results of its investigation pursuant to subdivision
(d)of Section 7661 relative to any incident that results in a notification required pursuant to subdivision
(b)of Section 7661, including its findings concerning the cause or causes of the incident and any action undertaken by the commission in response to those findings. The commission may include the information required to be reported pursuant to this section in its report to the Legislature pursuant to Section 916.
