The State Park and Recreation Commission shall allow, in accordance with Section 5003.1, waterfowl hunting annually from the opening day of hunting season for ducks or geese, whichever is earlier, to and including the closing day of this season, whichever is later, as established by the Fish and Game Commission, in all of Franks Tract State Recreation Area, except within 200 feet of or on the 330 acre island known as the Little Franks Tract, which is bounded on the south and west by Piper Slough, on the north by False River, and on the east by the open water portion of Franks Tract State Recreation Area.
A map of the portions of Franks Tract State Recreation Area open to hunting shall be available at the delta area office at Brannan Island State Recreation Area for examination.
