A carpet stewardship organization shall provide to the department all data necessary for the department to evaluate the effectiveness of the program as it is described in the carpet stewardship plan and in annual reports submitted by the carpet stewardship organization. This data shall include, but is not limited to, the costs of collection and of processing and recycling postconsumer carpet, and any other data necessary to determine whether the amount of the assessment, as proposed in the stewardship plan pursuant to subdivision
(c)of Section 42972, will be sufficient to achieve the goals of this chapter and the goals established in the carpet stewardship plan.
