§ 3320.4

In order to encourage the initiation and conduct of repressuring operations with the greatest possible speed in a subsidence area, the State, or any city, or county, city and county, or other political subdivision, deriving revenues from oil or gas produced from tide or submerged lands may expend such revenues for the purpose of bearing that portion of the cost of initiating and conducting repressuring operations in such subsidence area:
(1)In excess of that share of such costs which would otherwise be borne by such person pursuant to subdivision
(e)of Section 3322 as a participant in a unit created by order of the supervisor pursuant to Section 3322 under arrangements for conditional repayment as above provided, or
(2)In excess of that share of such costs which would otherwise be borne by such person as a participant in a unit under a unit agreement voluntarily entered into under arrangements for conditional repayment satisfactory to such person and the other working interest owners interested in said unit.
