§ 33692

(a)In lieu of the remittance required by Section 33690, for the 2009–10 fiscal year, a legislative body may remit, prior to May 10, 2010, an amount equal to the amount determined for the agency pursuant to paragraph
(2)of subdivision
(a)of Section 33690 to the county auditor for deposit in the county Supplemental Educational Revenue Augmentation Fund, to be established in the county treasury pursuant to paragraph
(1)of subdivision
(a)of Section 33690.
(b)In lieu of the remittance required by Section 33690.5, for the 2010–11 fiscal year, a legislative body may remit, prior to May 10, 2011, an amount equal to the amount determined for the agency pursuant to paragraph
(2)of subdivision
(a)of Section 33690.5 to the county auditor for deposit in the county Supplemental Educational Revenue Augmentation Fund, to be established in the county treasury pursuant to paragraph
(1)of subdivision
(a)of Section 33690.
(c)The legislative body may make the remittance authorized by this section from any funds that are legally available for this purpose.
