(a)For purposes of Section 668.14 of Title 34 of the Code of Federal Regulations, the required minimum number of hours, or the equivalent, established for approved schools for radiologic technologists approved pursuant to subdivision
(d)of Section 114870 is equal to the number of clock or credit hours, or the equivalent, that is approved for each school by the department as of the effective date of this section.
(b)A school approved by the department that submits an application on or after the effective date of this section shall not exceed the highest of the minimum number of hours required by regulation.
(c)This section shall remain in effect only until January 1, 2027, and as of that date is repealed.
