The fee for filing the petition is two hundred five dollars ($205). This fee shall be distributed as provided in Section 68085.4 of the Government Code. The petition may be heard by any judge hearing probate matters, or if a probate department has been designated for hearing probate matters, the matter shall be assigned to the probate department for hearing. A petition to establish a record of birth, death, or marriage of a minor or nonminor who is alleged or adjudged to be a person described in Section 300, 450, 601, 602, or subdivision
(v)of Section 11400 of the Welfare and Institutions Code may be made and heard in the juvenile court having jurisdiction over the minor or nonminor. The court shall waive the filing fee for all petitions heard in the juvenile court.
