With respect to any fund established pursuant to this chapter, the penalty amounts to be deposited in the fund shall be specified by resolution adopted by the board of supervisors of each county consistent with the authorizations set forth in this article and Article 3 (commencing with Section 76200). Each resolution shall state that the implementation of the applicable sections is necessary to the county for the establishment of adequate courtroom or criminal justice facilities or other authorized purposes of the fund.
The resolution shall set forth the amounts to be placed in the fund and shall instruct the clerk of the board of supervisors to transmit, on the next business day following the adoption of the resolution, a copy of the resolution to the clerk of each court in the county.
