Notwithstanding subdivision
(a)of Section 13127.3, if the director finds that delays in submitting the mandatory health effects studies were primarily caused by actions of the department, the director, with the concurrence of the Secretary for Environmental Protection, may extend the deadlines for submitting the mandatory health effects studies for the following active ingredients creosote, pentachlorophenol, dicamba, para-dichlorobenzene, methyl bromide, napropamide, petroleum distillates, and arsenic pentoxide/trioxide. Registrants of these products shall submit the required studies in a timely manner, but in no case later than the time allowed in Section 13127.92.
