The number to be elected from each supervisorial or Assembly district shall be the greater of either of the following:
(a)The number one.
(b)The integer nearest the resulting quotient obtained by dividing the number of members to be elected in that county times the number of Peace and Freedom Party registered voters in the district by the number of Peace and Freedom Party registered voters in the county.
If the procedure outlined above would result in less members being elected in a county than the number to which the county is entitled under Section 7752, the calculation in subdivision
(b)shall be repeated using a number of Peace and Freedom Party registered voters in the county sufficiently smaller than the actual number in the county so as to give a total number of members of central committees to be elected equal to or the nearest amount which is greater than the number to which the county is entitled.
