§ 84750.6

(a)Consistent with Sections 21 and Section 22 of Article XVI of the California Constitution, the following amounts are hereby appropriated from the Public School System Stabilization Account and shall be transferred by the Controller to Section B of the State School Fund for the support of community college districts:
(1)For the 2023–24 fiscal year, five hundred forty-five million eight hundred fifty-one thousand dollars ($545,851,000) to the office of the Chancellor of the California Community Colleges for allocation for the Student Centered Funding Formula pursuant to Section 84750.4.
(2)Thirty-one million two hundred thousand dollars ($31,200,000) for Student Centered Funding Formula unused growth to be expended consistent with the requirements specified in Item 6870-101-0001 of Section 2.00 of the Budget Act of 2022.
(3)One hundred seventy-seven million dollars ($177,000,000) for Part-Time Faculty Health Insurance to be expended consistent with the requirements specified in Schedule
(12)of Item 6870-101-0001 of Section 2.00 of the Budget Act of 2022.
(4)Twenty-three million six hundred thousand dollars ($23,600,000) for Part-Time Faculty Office Hours to be expended consistent with the requirements specified in Schedule
(14)of Item 6870-101-0001 of Section 2.00 of the Budget Act of 2022.
(5)Ten million dollars ($10,000,000) for the Community College Summer Assistance Program to be expended consistent with the requirements specified in Schedule
(24)of Item 6870-101-0001 of Section 2.00 of the Budget Act of 2022.
(1)Notwithstanding any other law, the following amounts from the following Controller’s reference items, that would otherwise be in satisfaction of subdivision
(b)of Section 8 of Article XVI of the California Constitution for the 2022–23 fiscal year, that were unallocated, unexpended, or not liquidated as of June 30, 2023, shall be deferred to the 2023–24 fiscal year:

(2)It is the intent of the Legislature that the amounts deferred pursuant to paragraph
(1)be supported by appropriations reflected in paragraphs
(2)to (5), inclusive, of subdivision (a).
(c)Notwithstanding subdivision
(a)the funds appropriated pursuant to paragraphs
(2)and
(3)of subdivision (a), and nine million five hundred thousand dollars ($9,500,000) of the amount appropriated pursuant to paragraph
(5)of subdivision (a), shall be appropriated for transfer by the Controller to Section B of the State School Fund for expenditure for the same purposes as funds allocated for apportionments in Schedule
(1)of Item 6870-101-0001 of Section 2.00 of the Budget Act of 2023 (Chapters 12, 38, 189, and 862 of the Statutes of 2023), as amended by the 2024 Higher Education Trailer Bill.
