Notwithstanding any other provision of law, the limitation in paragraph
(6)of subdivision
(c)of Section 60200, which requires that other criteria be approved at least 30 months prior to the date that the materials are to be approved for adoption, shall not apply to instructional materials adopted by the state board that are aligned with the content standards adopted pursuant to Section 60605.8 in each of the content areas for which standards are revised or adopted.
