The commission shall meet as deemed appropriate and necessary by the chairperson and the executive committee to accomplish its duties, but shall meet no fewer than once each quarter of the year.
In order that any allegation of misconduct and the effect thereof, if any, upon the application or credential of a certified employee are determined, as required by subdivision
(b)of Section 44244, no later than six months after an investigation is commenced, the commission or the Committee of Credentials shall meet more frequently than once each quarter, if possible.
