The provisions of Article 3 (commencing with Section 29850) of Chapter 5 of Division 3 of Title 3 of the Government Code shall be applicable to any unified school district, or district with over 10,000 average daily attendance authorized to issue warrants pursuant to Section 42647; except that whenever any reference is made in said Article 3 to
(1)the county auditor, or
(2)the general fund of the county, such reference shall be deemed, for purposes of this section, to be to
(1)the person authorized to issue warrants pursuant to Section 42647, and
(2)the general fund of the school district, respectively.
