The Superintendent and the state board shall consider for membership on the commission persons representing subjects commonly taught in public schools, including:
(a)English.
(b)Social sciences.
(c)World languages.
(d)Science.
(e)Mathematics.
(f)Visual and performing arts.
(g)Applied arts.
(h)Conservation education.
