§ 809.7

Sections 809.1 to 809.4, inclusive, shall not apply to peer review proceedings conducted in state or county hospitals, in hospitals owned by, operated by, or licensed to the Regents of the University of California or any of its subsidiary corporations which serve as a primary teaching facility, or in health facilities which serve as the primary teaching facility for medical schools approved pursuant to Section 2084. In addition, Sections 809.1 to 809.4, inclusive, shall not apply to licentiates engaged in postgraduate medical education under the auspices of a medical school approved pursuant to Section 2084.
This section shall not affect the obligation to afford due process of law to licentiates involved in peer review proceedings in these hospitals.
