§ 4604.2

(a)A person who was issued a conditional certificate to practice as a massage practitioner shall, within five years of being issued the conditional certificate by the council, complete and report to the council the completion of, at least 30 hours of additional education per year from approved schools or from continuing education providers approved by the council, until he or she has completed a total of at least 250 hours of education.
(b)A conditional certificate issued to any person pursuant to this section shall immediately be nullified, without need for further action by the council, if proof of completion of the requirements specified in subdivision
(a)is not filed with the council within the time period specified in subdivision (a).
(c)Notwithstanding subdivision
(a)of Section 4604.1, the council shall issue a new certificate to practice as a massage practitioner to a person that successfully completes the requirements described in subdivision (a).
