§ 19605.8

For thoroughbred meetings, the funds remaining after distribution of the amounts set forth in Sections 19605.7, 19605.71, and 19605.72 shall be distributed 50 percent as commissions to the association that conducts the racing meeting and 50 percent as purses to the horsemen participating in the racing meeting. From the amount distributed as purses, a sum equal to 0.07 percent of the handle shall be held by the association to be deposited with the official registering agency pursuant to subdivision
(a)of Section 19617.2, and shall thereafter be distributed in accordance with subdivisions (b), (c), and
(d)of Section 19617.2.
