Not later than 180 days after the date of enactment of this Act, the Secretary and the Attorney General shall enter into a memorandum of understanding on addressing freight fraud and theft. At a minimum, the memorandum of understanding entered into under subsection
(a)shall— require the Department to notify appropriate officials at the Department of Justice of any freight fraud or theft identified through the regulatory or enforcement work of the Department, and specify the method for such notification; and require the Department of Justice to establish a process for receiving and handling such information from the Department.
