In this Act: The term appropriate committees of Congress means— the Committee on the Judiciary of the Senate ; the Committee on Homeland Security and Governmental Affairs of the Senate ; the Committee on the Judiciary of the House of Representatives ; and the Committee on Homeland Security of the House of Representatives . The term Department means the Department of Homeland Security. The term Inspector General means the Inspector General of the Department of Homeland Security. The term Secretary means the Secretary of Homeland Security.
