Section 947 of the Cranston-Gonzales National Affordable Housing Act ( 42 U.S.C. 7704a ) is amended— in subsection (a), by striking safety both places it appears and inserting performance ; and in subsection (b), by striking shake-related property damage and inserting seismic-related property damage to improve the post-earthquake functional recovery time .
