Section 60143(b) of title 49, United States Code, is amended by striking paragraph
(1)and inserting the following: Not later than 90 days after the date of enactment of the PIPELINE Safety Act of 2025 , the Secretary shall promulgate regulations prescribing the applicability of the pipeline safety requirements to— idled natural gas transmission pipelines; idled other gas transmission pipelines; and idled hazardous liquid pipelines. .
