Section 352 of the National Defense Authorization Act for Fiscal Year 2024 ( Public Law 118–31 ; 137 Stat. 229) is amended— in subsection (a), by striking September 30, 2026 and inserting September 30, 2028 ; and in subsection (b), by adding at the end the following new paragraph: Details regarding the maintenance and service life extension plan for the amphibious warship that retains an operationally available amphibious warship until the end of the Obligation and Work Limiting Date for the construction contract for a replacement amphibious warship, as necessary to meet the requirements under section 8062 of title 10, United States Code. .
