Section 102(8) of the Robert T. Stafford Disaster Relief and Emergency Assistance Act ( 42 U.S.C. 5122(8) ) is amended— in subparagraph (B), by striking and at the end; in subparagraph (C), by striking the period at the end and inserting ; and ; and by adding at the end the following: includes any State or political subdivision of a State authorized by a local government to submit an application under this Act and serve as an agent on behalf of the local government. .
