Section 501(b)(2) of division HH of the Consolidated Appropriations Act, 2023 ( 7 U.S.C. 2016a(b)(2) ) is amended— by striking subparagraph
(A)and inserting the following: shall be equal to the amount of benefits stolen from the household; and ; in subparagraph (B), by striking and at the end; and by striking subparagraph (C).
