Sec. 113. Amount, duration, and administration of grants

Each grant awarded under subtitle B to an eligible entity shall be in an amount of— in the case of a grant awarded to an individual community college or minority-serving institution, not more than $20,000,000; and in the case of a grant to a consortium of community colleges or minority-serving institutions, not more than $220,000,000. A grant awarded under subtitle B shall be for a period of 4 years, except that a planning grant awarded under section 122 shall be for a period of 1 year.
No eligible entity shall receive more than 1 planning grant under section 122. An eligible entity may receive multiple grants under sections 123, 124, and 125, including 2 or more grants under different sections for the same grant period or for overlapping grant periods. The Secretary shall conduct annual grant competitions for the grants under subtitle B. Nothing in this title shall be construed to limit any program or grant established under any other Federal law, including the Higher Education Act of 1965 ( 20 U.S.C. 1001 et seq. ), the Elementary and Secondary Education Act of 1965 ( 20 U.S.C. 6301 et seq. ), or the Individuals with Disabilities Education Act ( 20 U.S.C. 1400 et seq. ).
