Section 1555 of the National Defense Authorization Act for Fiscal Year 2024 ( Public Law 118–31 ; 10 U.S.C. 503 note) is amended— in subsection (a), by striking does not and all that follows through the end and inserting the following: “does not— rate or rank news or information sources for the factual accuracy of their content; provide ratings or opinions on news or in formation sources regarding misinformation, bias, adherence to journalistic standards, or ethics; or acquire or use any service that provides any ratings, rankings, or opinions described in paragraph
(1)or
(2)from any other person for military recruiting contracts. ; by striking subsection
(b)and redesignating subsection
(c)as subsection (b); and in subsection (c), as so redesignated, by striking the date and all that follows through the period at the end and inserting December 31, 2030. .
