Sec. 1091. Declassification of certain records relating to Tower 22 attack

Except as provided in subsections
(b)an (c), not later than 180 days after the date of the enactment of this Act, the Secretary of Defense shall declassify any Department of Defense document or other Department of Defense record, which has not previously been released or made publicly available, relating to the attack on the United States Armed Forces at Tower 22, Jordan, on January 28, 2024. Nothing in this section provides authority for the Secretary of Defense to declassify any information that the Secretary does not already have the authority to declassify under Executive Order No. 13526, or any successor order. The Secretary may waive the application of subsection
(a)with respect to any record or document that reveals any source, method, or capability or would otherwise compromise the national security of the United States.
