Section 3507(d)(1) of title 46, United States Code, is amended by inserting (taking into consideration the length of the voyage and the number of passengers and crewmembers that the vessel can accommodate) after a sexual assault . Section 3507(f) of title 46, United States Code, is amended— in paragraph (1)— in subparagraph
(A)by striking and at the end; and by inserting after subparagraph
(B)the following: a system that electronically records the date, time, and identity of each crew member accessing each passenger stateroom; and ; and by striking paragraph
(2)and inserting the following: ensure that the procedures and restrictions are— fully and properly implemented; reviewed annually; and updated as necessary. .
