Section 6512 of the Intelligence Authorization Act for Fiscal Year 2023 (division F of Public Law 117–263 ; 136 Stat. 3543; 50 U.S.C. 3025 note) is amended— in subsection (b)— in paragraph (2)(A), by inserting before the period the following: , including with respect to the forcible transfer and deportation of Ukrainian children ; and in paragraph (4)(A), by striking 2026 and inserting 2028 ; and in subsection (c), by striking the date that is 4 years after the date of the enactment of this Act. and inserting December 31, 2028.
The Director and Coordinator shall carry out this section before such date regardless of any ceasefire or cessation of armed hostilities by Russia in Ukraine occurring before such date. .
