Sec. 6403. Plan for optimized staffing of the Office of the Director of National Intelligence

Not later than 120 days after the date of the enactment of this Act, the Director of National Intelligence shall submit to the congressional intelligence committees and the Committees on Appropriations of the Senate and the House of Representatives a target end-state for the appropriate staffing level of the Office of the Director of National Intelligence. The plan under subsection
(a)shall include a plan for achieving the targeted end-state for staffing at the Office of the Director of National Intelligence to the number of full-time equivalent employees, detailees, and individuals under contract with the Office that the Director requires for the optimized execution of the statutory authorities of the Director.
