Section 2031(i) of title 10, United States Code, is amended by striking support not fewer than 3,400, and not more than 4,000, units and inserting support not fewer than 3,600, and not more than 4,200, units . The amendment made by subsection
(a)shall take effect on October 1, 2027. Section 545 of the Servicemember Quality of Life Improvement and National Defense Authorization Act for Fiscal Year 2025 ( Public Law 118–159 ) is repealed.
