Section 4219 of the Atomic Energy Defense Act ( 50 U.S.C. 2538a ) is amended— by redesignating subsections (f), (g), and

(h)as subsections (g), (i), and (h), respectively; by moving subsection (i), as so redesignated, so as to appear after subsection (h), as so redesignated; in subsection (i), as so redesignated, by striking this subsection and inserting this section ; and by inserting after subsection

(e)the following new subsection (f): In carrying out subsection (a), the Secretary of Energy shall— ensure that Los Alamos National Laboratory, Los Alamos, New Mexico, has the capability to reliably produce no fewer than 30 war reserve plutonium pits annually; and ensure that the Savannah River Plutonium Processing Facility at the Savannah River Site, Aiken, South Carolina, has the capability to reliably produce no fewer than 50 war reserve plutonium pits annually. .
