Section 1068 of the Servicemember Quality of Life Improvement and National Defense Authorization Act for Fiscal Year 2025 ( Public Law 118–159 ; 138 Stat. 2067) is amended— in subsection (a), by striking one year after the date of the enactment of this Act and inserting January 15, 2027 ; and by striking subsection
(c)and inserting the following: Not later than January 15, 2027, the Commander of the United States Transportation Command, in coordination with the Chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff, the Secretaries of the military departments, and the commanders of the combatant commands, shall— submit to the congressional defense committees a final report on the study required under subsection (a); and provide to such committees a briefing on the report. .
