Sec. 705. Charge card program of the Department of Veterans Affairs

Not later than 60 days before making any change to the charge card program of the Department of Veterans Affairs, including any change reducing the total number of charge cards authorized for use, the Secretary of Veterans Affairs shall notify the Committee on Veterans’ Affairs of the Senate and the Committee on Veterans’ Affairs of the House of Representatives in writing of the proposed change. Any notification required by subsection
(a)shall include the following: The justification for the change concerned. The timeline for the change to occur. A description of how the Secretary of Veterans Affairs intends to monitor for any negative effects on health care or benefits delivery. This section shall terminate on the date on which President Trump is no longer President.
